This website and its content (in particular texts, graphics, photos, illustrations, videos, audio, design, layout, source code, games and other components), unless explicitly stated otherwise, are protected works under Czech Act No. 121/2000 Coll., the Copyright Act, and related regulations.

Without the Operator’s prior written consent, it is not permitted to copy, further distribute, modify, translate, publish, license, sell, rent, provide to third parties, or otherwise use any part of the content for commercial or non-commercial purposes beyond statutory exceptions. Names and marks of products, services, companies and organisations may be registered trademarks of their respective owners.

Trademark / Brand
The designation “EGTwins” may be a trademark and/or trade name of the Operator (the “Brand”). Any use of the Brand (including logo, name, graphic elements, claims and visual identity) in a way that could create an impression of official cooperation, sponsorship, authorisation or ownership is prohibited without the Operator’s explicit written consent. The Operator reserves the right to request removal of such use. The Operator may also request removal if the Brand is used in a manner that damages its reputation or unfairly exploits its distinctive character.

Permitted use (regular sharing, reviews, streaming, YouTube, etc.)
The Operator generally permits:

• recording gameplay (video/stream) for review, showcase, commentary or reporting purposes,
• publishing screenshots or short clips for review and informational purposes,
• linking to EGTwins pages,
• using the game title and the “EGTwins” Brand in descriptions/metadata (e.g. video title), provided it is clear the content is independent.

Guidelines for reviews/streams (to make it clear it’s not “official”)
When publishing content (e.g. a stream), the Operator recommends and requests that you:

• include a clear statement such as: “This video is not official EGTwins content and is not affiliated with EGTwins.”
• do not use the logo/brand in a way that looks like “official”, “partner”, “sponsored”, etc., if that is not true,
• do not imply EGTwins is responsible for the video’s content, commentary or the creator’s behaviour,
• do not use the Brand to promote hateful, illegal or otherwise harmful content.

Prohibited use of content
Without the Operator’s explicit written consent, it is prohibited in particular to:

• re-upload, mirror or host games (or parts of them) on other servers, portals or stores,
• download, extract and redistribute assets (textures, sounds, models, UI, scripts, levels),
• tamper with games (modifications, reverse engineering, decompilation, bypassing protection, obfuscation/licensing checks),
• create and distribute derivative works from games or assets (unless covered by a statutory exception or explicit permission),
• operate the games as part of your own services (“game portal”) without consent,
• automated downloading of website content (scraping/crawling beyond normal search engine indexing),
• use content in third-party advertising/marketing without consent.

Liability for the website, information and content

• The information on this website is provided for informational purposes. The Operator strives for accuracy but does not guarantee completeness, timeliness or error-free content.
• The Operator reserves the right to modify, add or remove any part of the content or website functionality at any time, even without prior notice.
• The Operator may change these terms at any time; the effective version is always the one published on this page.
• To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of information from this website.
• The Operator is not responsible for the content or availability of external websites linked from this website.

Liability and safety when playing games
Games are provided “AS IS” without warranties unless applicable law states otherwise. The Operator is not responsible for compatibility with specific hardware/software, data loss, lost profits or service interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from playing the games or visiting the website.

• Games may contain bugs, crashes, unfinished features or other issues.
• Games may contain flashing lights/effects — individuals sensitive to light stimuli should be cautious (recommendation: stop playing if you feel unwell).
• You are responsible for playing safely on your device and in your environment.

Protection of photos, images and graphics
All displayed photos (product and illustrative), graphics and illustrations are protected by copyright. The Operator may use protective elements (e.g. watermark) and holds original source files to prove authorship. Permission to use photos/illustrations may be granted only by the Operator, typically in writing. No business partner may grant consent to use the Operator’s content without explicit written authorisation.

Protection of games
All games created and published by EGTwins are protected works of the Operator and protected by copyright. The Operator may use protection mechanisms (e.g. watermarks embedded in texture data). Consent for use beyond the licence below may be granted only by the Operator.

Licence for playing and normal use
Unless stated otherwise for a specific game, the Operator grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the game for personal, non-commercial purposes only, and only to the extent necessary for normal gameplay (including installation, launching, updates and technical copies required for operation).

Prohibited use
Without the Operator’s explicit written consent, it is prohibited in particular to distribute, re-upload, mirror, provide to third parties, sell, rent, sublicense, operate on other servers, modify/alter, imitate, present as your own, create derivative works or modifications (including mods), reverse engineer, bypass technical protection measures, or otherwise unlawfully interfere with the game’s operation.

Streams, reviews and videos (YouTube/Twitch, etc.)
You may record gameplay, stream, review and publish videos (including monetisation), provided it is clear that the content is not an official EGTwins channel or a cooperation, and provided there is no infringement of the Operator’s rights (especially distribution of game files/builds, assets, source code, or impersonating EGTwins). The EGTwins name and trademark may be used only as necessary for description/reference and in a manner that does not suggest partnership, endorsement or responsibility of the Operator for third-party content.

Distribution on external platforms
If a game is available on third-party platforms (e.g. itch.io, Steam), distribution may also be subject to the platform’s terms. This does not affect the Operator’s copyright or these rules to the extent they do not conflict with the licence stated for the specific game. Publishing a game on a third-party platform does not grant third parties the right to redistribute it outside that platform.

Third-party content (asset stores, fonts, icons, libraries)
Some parts of games or the website may include third-party elements (e.g. fonts, libraries, sounds, photos, textures). Rights to such elements belong to their respective owners and you must comply with their licence terms.

Notice & Takedown
If you believe that content on this website infringes your rights (copyright, trademarks, personality rights, etc.), please contact the Operator at info@egtwins.cz and include: (1) the URL of the page/content, (2) a description of the infringement, (3) proof of your entitlement/what right is concerned. The Operator will review the notice and, if appropriate, take action.

Final provisions
If any provision of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. Legal relationships are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic unless mandatory provisions state otherwise.
